Our summer camps are
like none other – nestled in
the Great Trinity Forest, we
offer a 120-acre outdoor
classroom and a stateof-
the-art nature center
along the Trinity River just
8 minutes from downtown
Dallas.
At Audubon Summer Camp,
your children will be outside,
enjoying hands-on learning
and exploring the wonders of nature. We’ll
hike, study wildlife, learn outdoor skills, create
nature art, and conduct field experiments while
learning more about our amazing north Texas
home. Our experienced and caring educators
will nurture your child’s love of nature, while
having lots of fun in the great outdoors.
Animal Trackers | Entering K and 1st grade
Session 1: Jun 14 - 18
Session 2: Jun 21 - 25
9 am - 3 pm
Hop, fly, and crawl your way to Animal
Trackers Camp where acting like an animal is
encouraged! Come explore and discover the
amazing animals that live right here in our own
backyard. Feel the soft fur of a mammal, taste an
edible insect, make a bird feeder, and meet our
live Texas animal ambassadors. Don’t let this
camp slither away, join today! $195 includes a
camp T-shirt and snacks every day. *Campers

Texas is an amazing natural place. We’ll explore the plants and animals of our state and specifically the unbelievable animals that live right here in our north Texas backyards. We’ll hike, nature journal, watch birds, explore our pond life, create nature art, canoe and set up a camp site. And, we’ll meet native Texas animals up close and personal. $195 includes a camp T-shirt and snacks every day.
*Campers bring a sack lunch daily.


 

Eastern Cottontail Rabbit Running by Sean Fitzgerald Adventure Trekkers Entering 4th and 5th grades
Session 1: Jul 12-16
9 am - 3 pm

Are you ready for some adventure this summer? Hike on down for our Adventure Trekkers Camp. Learn outdoor survival skills. Make a survival shelter. Go fishing and birding. Come hike and backpack four miles of trails, orienteer and geo-cache using compass and GPS, and nature journal. Build a campfire and set-up tents. Paddle the ponds in a kayak or canoe. $195 includes a camp T-shirt and snacks every day.
*Campers bring a sack lunch daily.


Backlit Grasses by Sean Fitzgerald Endangered Grassland

Double the fun: Dallas Zoo/TRAC 
Entering 4th and 5th grades

Session 1: Jul 12 - 16
9 am - 3 pm

"Endangered Grasslands" at the Dallas Zoo and the Trinity River Audubon Center. This new camp takes children from the world of the African savanna to our own Blackland Prairie, the most endangered ecosystem in the United States.  Spend Monday through Wednesday at the Dallas Zoo, and then spend a fun-filled, action packed Thursday through Friday (including a staff-supervised overnight) at Trinity River Audubon Center. $234 for members of the Dallas Zoo or the Trinity River Audubon Center ($260 for non-members). 
*Campers bring a sack lunch daily.

Nature Club
For Kids ages 5 - 8 & 9 - 12  |  $195/year

It’s a child’s nature to explore. Our Nature Club encourages and models exploration through hands-on activities, science investigations, and outdoor fun.  All activities are age appropriate and engage multiple learning  styles.
Second Saturday of each month, 10am-12pm
